Students will love playing this fun piece that has dueling personalities. Brassy chords constantly bring the more melodious line to a halt. Teachers can relate this interchange with real life experiences of interrupting to increase the dramatic quality. There should be no pause when moving between the two different melodies. Some of the figurations during the chordal sections can be challenging but are good for practicing technical skills.
