This eight measure piece begins and ends in a blink of an eye, but not without first giving a chance for students to practice a necessary skill: switching between staccato and legato. The articulation is clearly marked and is repetitive, making is easier for students to be successful. Parallel motion alternates with contrary motion. Students struggling with this should practice the hands separately.
