Bela bartok 2

“Dragons’ Dance” is fierce from the very first notes. Including lots of dissonances gives the piece a fiery, intimidating feel. Students will encounter numerous accidentals as well as challenging articulations. Both hands hold tied whole notes while simultaneously playing other melodies. These moving notes have two-note slurs, staccato markings, as well as tenuto signs. Coordinating numerous lines with complex articulations can be difficult.
