This lively piece will convince students that practicing hands alone is not only useful, but sometimes necessary. There are three simultaneous lines of music with different articulations and rhythms. Practicing each line separately is a good step before working on the coordination of all three lines together. The distinct articulations should be brought out. The hands do not move much and are in small hand positions, making the piece more accessible to students.
