The left-hand melody of this piece makes it an excellent exercise in voicing; students should be sure to strictly observe the eighth-note rests that separate melody notes. The right hand arpeggiated accompaniment should be kept light and unobtrusive. Students should especially watch for changes in the accompaniment pattern and dynamic changes, which are crucial to the success of the piece.
