Gentle descending fifths create the sound of leaves lightly falling to the ground. Since the only thing that changes is the octave of this pattern, this is a great opportunity to practice hand position jumps without the worry of finding new notes. Although the melody is quite simple throughout, Carolyn Miller adds interest by including words.  Cascading arpeggios at the end once again present the listener with a peaceful mood of partaking in the change of seasons.
