Chee-Hwa Tan, Night...

Chee-hwa tan

Chee-Hwa Tan

This corresponds with the next piece in the collection, “…and Day.” Most of the piece is in a D minor hand position, but students will also need to be comfortable moving to various other keys such as C and A major. Keeping the melody legato, which consists of flowing eighth notes, is important for capturing the mood of the piece.
