This march is a good choice for strong, determined pianists. Accurate rhythms and a clear, steady pulse are among the most important aspects. The dotted eighth notes can be a bit challenging for young pianists. Articulation markings also need quite a bit of attention. Students will encounter two-note slurs, staccatos, and legato notes. This march complements the calmer preceding piece in this suite.
