Fiery and daring, “La Serenata” is sure to be a hit with students. The given articulation is specific and should be followed carefully to produce alternatively crisp and legato sections. The dynamic contrasts are also extreme and add a lot of excitement. Overpowering the melody is easy, so the accompaniment should be kept somewhat light. This piece has lots of passion and drama that should be brought out.
