Dennis Alexander

A more modern sounding Baroque piece, this prelude features a repeated motive in the right hand that is usually accompanied with a descending bass line. Written in rounded binary form, the tension builds in the B section, but then releases as we enter into the opening section again. Sequence pervades each section of this fun prelude.

This piece is from the collection "Performing in Style", Alfred Publishing Company, 1989
