“Jellybean Jump” certainly has a lot of spunk! Although neither hand frequently jumps to new positions, the articulation and rhythms should by snappy and have a fast-moving ambiance. Hidy employs numerous scalar passages, using fingering that should be familiar to young pianists. Following the detailed dynamic markings is another important aspect.
