This is a super fun piece that challenges students in exciting ways. The left hand must maintain a boogie pattern throughout the piece. The articulation, including tenuto and staccato markings, needs to be consistent all the way to the end. The right hand is busy, too. Its hand positions as well as rhythms have a lot of variety. Putting the hands together can be difficult, so students should practice hands alone. The right hand needs to be voiced above the accompaniment.
