This is a great piece for working on creating long phrases. Students should make sure that the melody remains legato and is louder than the accompaniment. Good fingering, especially in left hand is imperative for keeping a steady tempo. The numerous accidentals can be initially challenging for students. Since the first eight measures repeat at the end, students will have no trouble learning the piece quickly.
