Two-note slurs and perky staccatos abound in this brief work. Students will encounter varying accidentals as well, but other than that the hands never move positions. In addition to detailed articulations, dynamics also play a large role in this piece. Teachers may have to explain the meaning of cresc. poco a poco. Rests have an important role in keeping the mood light, so they should be carefully observed.
