A perky broken chord accompaniment coupled with a lively melody work together to form this energetic piece. Dotted eighth notes and frequent sixteenth notes add a lot to the character. Good voicing is necessary so that the melody is not overpowered. Students should pay careful attention to the articulation, since the slurs are quite detailed.
