“Brass and Drum Corps” is a fantastic piece for energetic students who love peppy, rhythmic works. The left hand has a catchy pattern employing triplets and quarter notes. Keeping a steady tempo is imperative for imitating the drummers. The right hand has a brass-like quality, consisting mostly of major triads. The occasional accidentals and accent markings can be a bit challenging for young pianists.
