Kunz writes this canon in the key of F-sharp minor and uses a cut time signature. Beginning pianists will need to become familiar with the numerous sharps and accidentals before increasing the tempo. The articulation is quite detailed and varied. Students should be especially aware of the staccato notes. This piece is especially helpful for the left hand since its fourth and fifth fingers are used extensively.
