In this first movement, figures of an eighth note plus two sixteenth notes as well as dotted rhythms could present a challenge to some students. Students should be aware of scattered accidentals in this C-Major piece. Despite this added difficulty, melodic material is repeated and sequenced, making mastery of one measure a building block for the next.
