The Alberti bass left-hand of this minuet is marked legato sempre, presenting a chance to develop the student’s mastery of this essential accompanimental technique with the added technique of legato. The right-hand melody is almost entirely arpeggiated when it is not scalar. The thirds and sixths against the melody may present a voicing challenge for some students. Finally, students should be aware of accidentals in both hands, which may catch them by surprise in a C-Major piece.
