Friedrich Kuhlau

Full of vigor and life, this is sure to be an exciting piece for students. An Alberti bass in the left hand keeps the music flowing, complementing the long melodic lines in the right hand. There are numerous sforzando markings in the second section, which are important for providing a contrast from the previous material. Students will encounter scales as well as other passage work in the melody.
