“Thunderstorm” is a bit like a Chopin etude with its virtuosic eighth notes in the left hand and dramatic melodic line. The right hand has the melody, which should be well-voiced. This can be challenging due to the thick textures, consisting mostly of triads. A strong technique is necessary for clarity and speed in the execution of the left hand. The numerous accidentals and chromatic passages are a bit difficult.
