Bach statue again

As one of the famous beginning works of J.S. Bach, this march may already be familiar to students before they even play it. Teachers should be aware that many publications have included articulation markings that Bach himself did not write. However, these markings can begin discussions about articulation practices of the Baroque period. This piece has many opportunities for varied articulation in the joyous melody and vibrant accompaniment line. An even touch should be used for the left hand, and the numerous eighth notes in the right hand need to be steady.
