Konrad Kunz, Op. 14, No. 105

This canon needs an upbeat tempo and detailed articulations, keeping it from sounding repetitive or dull. Kunz includes many specific legato and staccato markings. Good counting is imperative for the success of this piece. Numerous tied notes are used, creating syncopations. Students should also be mindful of the frequent accents, which add to the rhythmic variety.
