This cheery canon is written in B-flat major, which is a good way to introduce young pianists to keys that have more flats and sharps. Keeping a steady, clear pulse can be challenging in this piece. Kunz includes numerous accent marks to make this easier. The included rests are quite important for capturing the desired sound of this canon.
