Perky and bright, this canon has lots of exciting rhythms. Students should make the dotted eighth notes and sixteenth notes especially animated. Keeping the staccato eighth notes crisp is another important aspect. One should be sure to voice the moving notes well and to make special emphasis of the two-note slur in the final measure.
