This canon sounds a bit peculiar, making it a fun contrast to other repertoire. Surprising accent marks and interesting accidentals abound. Students should make sure that all of the eighth notes have clarity and flow well. A legato articulation is quite important. The tempo needs to be fairly calm so that it never feels rushed.
