A well-developed finger technique is required for playing this canon. Kunz uses numerous staccato notes, which need clarity, crispness, and a solid tone. Though students may have difficulty with the key signature of G-flat major, the six sharps are great practice for young pianists. One should make sure that the pulse is always clear throughout the piece.
