This canon has a simple character, giving it a calm and reposed feel. Both hands are in F minor hand positions that never move. Thought the articulation is a bit detailed, it is achievable because of the slow tempo. Students should not feel rushed while playing this piece. They should, however, be aware of the occasional accent marks.
