This canon is sure to challenge young pianists. Not only does the key signature have six sharps, but Kunz also uses numerous accidentals, including double sharps. The frequent changes in the melodic line create a quirky sound. The articulation is also quite complicated, and students may have to sometimes practice the hands alone in order to improve their coordination. Accents on the upbeats also contribute to the strange feel of this piece.
