Students will have fun with this cheerful canon. The key signature is in A-flat major, which is easier than many of the other keys in the Opus 14 collection. Fun rhythms, from sixteenth notes to dotted eighth notes, abound. Frequent rests in both hands also occur and should be observed carefully. Students should make sure that the tempo never relaxes during this piece.
