The result of the canonic writing in this piece is parallel thirds and sixths between the hands. This leads to a pleasant, consonant sound. Both hands are in an F-major hand position, which is accessible for beginning pianists. They should be aware of the constant changes in articulation. Both hands have corresponding markings, making the piece easier to play.
