Students may find this canon’s key signature of B major to be challenging. However, since the hand position is stable, it is an easy way to introduce young pianists to playing with numerous accidentals. Slur markings help one to clearly distinguish the short phrases. The staccatos should still be followed closely despite the addition of phrasing slurs.
