An abundance of accents gives this canon its unique feel. In cut time, the piece has accents on every second beat. Careful counting becomes imperative because of the numerous ties over the bar line. As with many of the other canons in Opus 14, articulation is one of the key components of this work. Beginning pianists may find the key signature, B major, to be challenging.
