Konrad Kunz, Op. 14, No. 41

Konrad Kunz

Konrad Kunz

This canon has much pedagogical value. The right hand starts out in a C major position, while the left hand starts in a pentatonic hand position on B. Later on, both hands move to new positions. Ties, accents, and complicated articulation markings abound. This canon is longer and more intricate than the other selections in Opus 14 set.
