Konrad Kunz, Op. 14, No00:21

Konrad Kunz, Op. 14, No. 50

Konrad Kunz

Konrad Kunz

By starting on an upbeat, Kunz gives this cheery canon forward-propelling motion. The slur markings are quite exact and should be followed carefully. Though it is written in the key of B-flat major, both hands are in an F major position. This is helpful for beginning students.

The only interval used is a third, giving the piece a consonant sound. Students may want to practice the hands separately at first to make the piece easier.
