Konrad Kunz, Op. 14, No00:14

Konrad Kunz, Op. 14, No. 51

Konrad Kunz

Konrad Kunz

The left hand takes the lead in this short canon. Both hands are in a stable E major pentatonic position. Kunz uses lots of staccatos, giving the piece a bouncy feel. Students should make sure that both hands have a lot of clarity and briskness in their articulation. Two-note slurs with accent are another frequently used marking. Students should also note the numerous eighth-note rests.
