Agile fingers are needed for this work. In 6/8 time, this piece mostly consists of rapid sixteenth notes. It is somewhat like a trill exercise; however the addition of articulation markings adds more variety. Students need to be conscious of the slurs and staccato markings. This is a great piece for students who are familiar with playing in keys with numerous sharps.
