Since this canon is in 3/8 time, students need to make sure that the big beats of each measure come through. The key signature of E major may be challenging for beginning pianists. A developed technique is necessary for being able to play the sixteenth notes with clarity. Students should make sure that the dotted rhythms are sharp.
