Konrad Kunz, Op. 14, No. 69

Konrad Kunz

Konrad Kunz

Kunz creates his own key of F-flat major by adding flats and double flats to an A-flat major key signature. Though the idea is intriguing, the numerous accidentals can pose a challenge for students. Two-note slurs occur in abundance, adding a bouncy flavor to the piece. Students should strive for a strong, confident tone.
