This piece requires one’s full attention in order to navigate the frequent rhythmic changes. There are repeating patterns of eighth notes and sixteenth notes in each hand, but they become difficult when playing both hands together. Keeping a clear, steady pulse in 3/4 time will help keep the piece flowing nicely. Paying attention to the articulation markings is also crucial. A strong differentiation is needed between the legato and staccato passages.
