Students will have their hands full with this canon, which has numerous accidentals in addition to the four sharps already in the key signature. Also, the frequent changes in articulation require a lot of concentration. Students should make sure that the contrasts between legato and staccato are apparent. Additionally, the accent marks are quite important since they create syncopated rhythms and keep the pulse.
