This piece offers a great chance to practice playing two-note slurs and dotted rhythms. Dotted eighth notes and sixteenth notes comprise the majority of the rhythmic variations. Keeping a steady tempo is imperative for giving a convincing performance of the canon. The articulation markings are repetitive and quite simple.
