“Bike Ride” is quite similar to exercises by Czerny. Both hands have opportunities to practice G major scales and passage work. The accompaniment should be kept light so that the melody can come through clearly. Two-note slurs are important for keeping the sound light. Practice tips include using dotted rhythms for the sixteenth notes and using the metronome. The melody needs to be legato and even throughout.
