Peppy and nimble, this piece is great for students that love to play energetic music. The accompaniment is fairly straightforward and consists mostly of quarter notes, allowing the melody to control the excitement. The articulation is important and should be followed closely. Additionally, the dotted rhythms need to be crisp and accurate so that they do not sound like triplets. During the repeats of both sections, the dynamic levels may be changed to add variety.
