Reed burkholder

With an easy-going style, this piece is well-suited for students who are comfortable with basic hand positions, rhythms, and articulations. The accompaniment is built on open fifths. Some of the ties can be challenging for students to pay attention to duration. The melody is centered in a G major hand position with some slight variance in articulation. Students can use the given dynamics to create an exciting climax.
