This C Major rondo has light and cheerful character. This is a wonderful piece with which to explore the typical rondo form. The principal theme keep appearing with slight embellishments and between the themes, the episodes are inserted. The left hand generally is in charge of the accompaniment and the right hand carries the melodic line. One should therefor be careful to differentiate the articulation between both hands and watch for good balance. Written out ornaments provide a good exercise for this technique
